Our March general meeting will be on March
28 at 2 pm in the South Clubhouse. After a brief
business meeting, Sun Lakes resident Joe Oakes
will give a demonstration in acrylic painting.
There will also be a Mini Art Show with awards
presented to the top winners, which are chosen by the members
in attendance. The "Best of Show" winner will be selected by our
guest artist, Joe Oakes. Members are encouraged to bring a piece of
art to display for this Mini Show, which is an enjoyable part of our
monthly meetings.
Joe Oakes will teach the April classes in acrylic painting. These
are scheduled for Mondays, April 8, 15 and 22 in the Main Clubhouse
Arts and Crafts Room from 9 am to noon. The total cost for this
series is $30 for members and $35 for non-members. For more

classes were very popular, so get your reservation in promptly. Joe
welcomes all ability levels, beginners through advanced.
The Art League will have a booth in the March 9 Spring Crafts
Show. We need paintings and other art pieces to sell in our booth that
day. Please call June Kesson at (951) 769-9266 as soon as possible.
New members are welcome to join the Art League at anytime.
