| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MARCH 2019 | 51 Executive Men's Golf Saturday Morning Golf This is a fun group of men, women, couples and singles, golfers of all levels and ages. We play every Saturday morning on the Executive Course. Players meet at the North Clubhouse at 8:30 am for a 9 am tee start. July 1 - Oct. 1, 8 am check-in 8:30 am tee off. We have tournaments for everyone, plus closest to the pin for men and women. Our tournaments are held every second Saturday with a variety of formats. Trophies at year-end to Club Champions with the best gross and net score. Quarterly luncheons/dinners and our annual meeting in November. New member forms are in the North Pro Shop. Annual membership is $15. The emphasis of this club is golf, and having fun playing it! Come join us. Info., Mary Backer, 845-5131. Join us for a good time of golfing and friendship. Couples Golf The Executive is an 18 hole course with four challenging par fours and lots of water. We have a tournament on the third Friday of the month followed by a catered lunch. The tournament for Fri., March 15 is Irish 4 Ball, pick your own team. Please be sure and sign up by noon Tues., March 12. Remember lunches this year are in the North Clubhouse. Membership is open to all Sun Lakes male residents, and all levels of golfers are welcome. Scheduled this month is the Sun Lakes Safari Modified (ABCD), on Wed., March 6 and the 2-Man Scramble (Pick your Partner), on Sat. March 23. At our Second Annual Awards and Appreciation Dinner, it was announced by Larry Fletcher that Rich Nichols was the recipient of the Men's Club 2018 Member of the Year award in recognition of his outstanding leadership and contributions to the success of our club. We continue to encourage members from last year to renew their memberships. Dues are $70 ($34 goes towards Men's Club dues and $36 pays for maintaining your S.C.G.A. / Ghin handicap).
