| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | March 2019 | 5 The Annual Membership Meeting will be Wed., April 24. This year, there are three positions up for re-election for two year terms. In Mid- February, a "Notice of Election and Request for Candidates" form was mailed out to all owners of record, both electronically and via first class mail. The "Notice of Election" contains election information and qualifications for running for the Board. Also attached was a "Request for Candidates" form for those who are genuinely interested in volunteering to serve as a Director. All owners in good standing are eligible to apply. If we receive more than three Candidate Forms, a "Meet the Candidates" night will be scheduled shortly after the ballots are mailed this month. Please watch for communications regarding this important night. Beginning around March 18, the Annual Meeting Notice and "Ballots" will be sent via first class mail to all owners. It is very important that you exercise your membership rights and vote! If you have any questions about the process, please stop by the Lodge. I, or Mari, our Assistant General Manager, will be happy to answer your questions. I cannot stress how important and costly the election process is to the homeowners association, especially if we don't achieve a quorum. So please vote! Also, be sure and sign the top left corner of the "Green" envelope! Seal Coat Project Update: We have been asked by many residents if the project is done. The answer is, not yet. Throughout the project, the condition of the asphalt has been checked by the Ad-Hoc asphalt committee, management, residents' observations and members of the Board. After the streets were sealed, additional visual inspections were made by the committee, management and several Board Members. All are in agreement that there are areas that, in our collective opinion, are not up to the scope of work outlined in the contract. Because of this, and the period of rain storms, we have suspended further work while a reasonable plan is developed to make the necessary repairs and appropriate re-sealing. Once the areas are repaired to the satisfaction of the Board, final payments to the contractor will be made. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work through this process. Questions? Please remember if you have a question related to the Association, please call the Lodge at (951) 325-8188. If you have a service request or concern, please stop by the Lodge and speak to one of the staff members. They will assist you in filling out a Resident Communication Form. Thank you to all of you who read our articles. We hope you enjoy St. Patrick's Day! General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth
