42 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | APRIL 2019 |
Ideas are a function of brainstorms within our creative
minds. During our Creative Writers' Club meetings we are
given a five-minute initial exercise to write about a suggested
topic, and our brains/minds go into action using paper and
pen to record what we want to say about that topic.
The human mind is a vast storage of life's experiences
and stuff collected over our lifetime. The suggested exercise
topic is there in our memory bank and we go back in time
to see what there is related to the subject at hand. When you
seriously think about it, anybody can come up with a written
piece to read to the group. What is amazing is that each writer
will have a different perspective on the topic, and that is what
makes our group so dynamic; so, why not become a part of
our group and add your writing to the mix. We meet on the
first Monday and the third Wednesday of every month from 3
to 5 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Hope to
see you there. ~ Stan Vitt

The Sun Lakes Computer Club will be meeting Thurs., April 4 at 1 pm
in the South Clubhouse following our Spring Potluck.
Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month.
The club is for persons of all computer skill levels. Each meeting will
feature various topics and speakers. Handouts are given out for each
