40 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2019 During our March meeting, the photography club addressed the following: 1. Meet and Greet: Get to know the old and new members. 2. Organization of the Club. Finding new leadership among those interested in volunteering and dividing the responsibilities over several positions. 3. Suggestions on how the club can best serve its members. 4. Just to get to know something about each photographer, we asked them to bring a few of their favorite photos they want to share on a thumb drive. We seek all those interested in photography. Whether you use a cell phone, a point-and-shoot, an expensive digital, or a video camera, you are welcome. All levels of photographers are welcome. Great photos start with an eye for the beauty, the odd, the rare in all things around us. We hope you will turn out and make this a place for all who enjoy and have a love of photography. New exciting plans are in the works. Please contact John Baeyertz at johnbz1453@gmail.com if you have any questions. We are looking forward to seeing you at a meeting and viewing your beautiful photography art. ~ John Baeyertz, johnbz1453@gmail.com PHOTO CLUB Photo by Lyle Cameron taken at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in February of this year Bereavement Group As I have stated before in this column, the pieces written and shared by members of our Bereavement Group have great power. They are written during times of struggle and angst and come from deep in the heart. The person who wrote this wishes to remain anonymous, but has agreed that I may share it with you. So here it is: COPING Don't preach, Don't spout pious platitudes, Don't tell me he is in a bettter place. You may mean well, But it doesn't ease the pain. But tell me: How much he was loved, How he left this world a better place. Don't tell me he lived a long life. But tell me how he lived that life. Tell me how he inspired you, How he made you laugh. Tell me how much he will be missed. Also: Tell me where the poppies bloom, he will be there Tell me where a vet is in need; he will be there. Tell me when the birds are in the bath, And where the chipmunks are at play; He will be there. Oh, please tell me! If you have experienced a loss and are in pain, please think about joining us. We meet on Mondays from 1 to 3 pm in the RCN Conference Room. You can just walk in or you can call me first at (951) 922-0934 or send email to me at lauriemlarson425@gmail. com. All contact is confidential. ~ Laurie Larson
