RV Club members recently took a fun-filled
trip to stay at the Golden Shore RV Resort in
Long Beach. WOW members stayed on the
Queen Mary. Club members enjoyed many
activities which included a walking food tour,
Queen Mary Scottish Festival, golf, and dinner at
Gladstone's restaurant. Some visited the nearby
Aquarium of the Pacific and even took a boat out
to Catalina Island. The wagon masters we would
like to thank are Tim and Valerie Lynch, Grady
and Debbie Machnick, and WOW coordinators
Tim Griffin and Dannica Wood.
Trip planning in the RV Club is serious
business. Because of the popularity of RV
parks, reservations must be made many months
or even a year ahead. So the RV Club is already
looking into the year 2020. Here are a few trips
in the works: Morro Bay at Morro Dunes RV
Park (March), Bishop Mule Days Celebration
(late May), and Park City, Utah (late September).
VP Membership - Ellin Whitson reports
that the RV Club current membership is 238.
Informational/get-acquainted meetings were
held in February for new members. Thanks go
out to Mel and Jan Feintuch and Jan Lopez for
hosting these get togethers.
Don't forget to wear your name tags at our
next RV Club membership meeting Tues., April
23, in Abravanel Hall. Social time starts at 7 pm,
and business meeting starts at 7:30 pm.
