14 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | May 2019 | Hello to the merry month of May and we have some "special days"to celebrate. Starting the month on Wed., May 1 with the Ladies Social Club hosting a Hollywood Revisited Luncheon. Sounds like great fun with movies and costumes, will there be acting? On Sun., May 12, will be the combination of Sunday Brunch and Mother's Day. Special additions to the buffet will be added in celebration of Mother's Day. Please make your reservations early to acquire your favorite seating time. You don't have to arrive at that exact time but you must have finished eating and leave in your time frame. May 19 is "Taste of Elegance" night. I'm sure Francisco, as well as other restaurants, will plan some tasty tidbits to enjoy with our wine sampling. A fun night you don't want to miss, and its proceeds go to local charities! May 27, is Memorial Day, a day of remembering all branches of service veterans with deep emotion and gratitude for their service, and also to those that lost loved ones while they defended us. We have a great team here that present an outstanding program each year, a celebration to those we've lost. Also please note the Bistro is closed on this Monday holiday. The lucky winner's ticket for the "Sunday Brunch" is Bobbie Davis. Her name was drawn by Gene Hikel at the BOD meeting April 24. Two interesting rules where discussed at our last Bistro meeting that none of us knew about prior to the discussion. We thought it should be shared with all of you. 1.) Bistro employees may not participate in parties, brunch or events unless invited by and attending the function with that Four Season's resident. 2.) The Friday night specials and Sunday Brunches are low priced for residents of Four Seasons as a "thank you" from Francisco for your business. There is a rule that we may bring up to six guests only (preferably less). This rule does not apply to holiday specials menus (ie. Mother's Day, Easter, etc.) when the meals are not discounted and families may want to gather. Next month I hope to start something new by submitting a short bio and photo about the Bistro staff, starting with Francisco in June, I'm looking forward to it, hope you will too. So for now that's it from me, Patt , Double "T."
