| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | May 2019 | 25 At the April meeting, the members of the Happy Campers RV Club selected Melody Lewis to serve as the club's President (Wagon Master). I want to thank Melody for volunteering to take this job on and I will work with her to affect a smooth transition. I am sure that with your continued support the club will continue to be one of the most popular and active clubs here at Four Seasons. Ann and I plan to continue to be active in the clubs activities and camping trips for many years to come. On March 21 Team Sunshine brought Master Gardener, Eben Longfellow to Four Seasons to assist us with landscape help for our homes. For those in attendance, we gleaned valuable advice from water- wise planting to understanding which climate zone we live in. What works, what doesn't and why. Planting to specifically attract butterflies, hummingbirds, and good pollinators was a popular topic, followed by a very lively discussion on how to best rid our yards of gophers and pesky crawling critters. Ideas flowed and "aha moments" were energetically felt by all. During this information packed afternoon I wondered… How many of us might be interested in forming a club to further learn from each other, while sharing our passions for planting, digging and creating our own individual oasis' within our yards? Hemet San Jacinto Valley is rich with resources and educational opportunities, but if you're like me, you don't venture out as much to explore what those opportunities and resources are. So let's start our own in-community, Four Seasons resource! All are welcome to the discussion as we explore possibilities! Please call Sharon Deuber at (760) 500-0077. Based upon interest we'll decide as a group where and when to get together.
