| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | May 2019 | 29 Hand & Foot "Spring has Sprung!" Pardon the pun but isn't it time to think about a new activity for yourself? Here it is… Hand & Foot, a little bit like the old Canasta game with a new twist. If you have never played, we can teach you in a minute - rules are easy to follow and you can enjoy a little social time with friends. It is "free" and we play every Wednesday at 11:30 am but be there by 11:15 am to find a place and then the fun begins. Bring a friend or significant other and a snack to share. For more information call Pat Hall, (951) 599-4687 or e-mail pjhall@prodigy.net. Looking forward to seeing you. Mah Jongg Club Our new Mah Jongg cards for 2019 have arrived and we started playing with them on April 1. I guess it depends whether you're winning or not if you love them or hate them! Either way, we are having fun playing the new hands. Our club continues to grow and we would like to invite you to join us this year and to enjoy playing and socializing. Now is the perfect time for all of you guys and gals who are curious about the game to come and learn how to play! Or, you may be an experienced player who is new to our community and would like to join our group. We play every Monday and Thursday from 1 to 3:30 pm in the Multipurpose Room. If you want to learn how to play, we have written instructions and someone is always available to teach you. You are welcome to come and observe anytime when we are playing. We also have birthday luncheons, holiday parties and other get-togethers throughout the year. For information, please call Mila Bodrov at (951) 223-3338 or Marilyn Fields at (619) 892-1128. Mexican Train Enjoy playing games? Want to spend a couple of hours socializing with some of your neighbors? If you answered yes to these questions, then why not come join the Mexican Train group. Whether you're an experienced player or a newcomer to the game, everyone is welcome. We play every Tuesday evening in the Lodge Multipurpose Room. Start time is 6 pm; however, arriving by 5:45 pm is suggested in order to find a good seat. Please… if you come by and it looks like a full house, come on in and we'll start a new table to accommodate you. The more, the merrier! For more information, contact Bobbie Davis at (951) 223-3836 or misserdog@ outlook.com. We look forward to having even more of our neighbors come join us. Hope to see you there! Poker Mondays and Thursdays at 12 pm in the Multipurpose room. Come join us! Scrabble I hear many people talk about how much they like to play Scrabble or other word games on their phones or computers, so why not take a break from those screens and come play with some live people. We have had some new people join us for a few games recently and it's definitely been a nice challenge for our little group. Our primary objectives are to have a good time and keep our brains active while socializing with friends. We meet on Monday afternoons at 3:30 pm in the Lodge Multipurpose Room, so come on down and give it a try. For more information, contact Bobbie Davis at (951) 223-3836 or misserdog@outlook.com.
