FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2019 35 Our next general meeting is Wednesday, May 8, at 10 am in The Lodge Ballroom. Our guest speakers will be Sergeant Chris Ramos of the Beaumont Police Department along with a representative from their Code Enforcement Unit. Sergeant Ramos will talk about identification of suspects by witnesses and victims of crimes or suspicious circumstances. Our April general meeting was presented by the Steering Committee of Neighborhood Watch. The information presented included, if you see something, say something, call the Beaumont Police to report suspicious or criminal activity, and do not confront anyone and put yourself in any danger. Also covered was the importance of Block Captains and members of Neighborhood Watch who help keep our community safe through awareness and willingness to contact the police when necessary. As stated in last month's Breeze, this is the time of year that many of our residents leave Four Seasons to travel or vacation. If you are going to be gone on vacation, let a neighbor you are close to know you will be gone. Leave an emergency contact in the event something occurs on your property while you are away. It has been reported that bicycles, and in one case, a golf cart have been observed on our trails at Four Seasons. Only wheeled mobility devices are allowed on the trails operated by a handicapped resident or a resident's guest accompanied by the resident. No bicycles, strollers, skates or any other wheeled devices are allowed. Our next training session of the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is planned for June in The Lodge Ballroom. If you are interested in attending this training, please sign the AED training list in the lobby of The Lodge. Please continue to wear reflective clothing while walking in the community, and have something that identifies who you are and an emergency contact person and a telephone number. In the event of a medical emergency, this information would be important in notifying family members, first responders, and management on the identity of the resident in distress. This year's National Night Out is scheduled in the Four Seasons Lodge Ballroom on July 25, starting at 5:30 pm with desserts and refreshments, followed by the program at 6 pm. Representatives from law enforcement, fire officials, and city officials from Beaumont and Banning will be in attendance. Thank you to all our Neighborhood Watch Block Captains and members of Neighborhood Watch for all that you do to keep our community safe. ~ Jerry Monahan, (951) 212-8898 The 2019 Amphitheater summer concert season is back! Our May 19 show promises to kick off the season with a rocking good time. Our opening band is Beach Street A GoGo. They are a six-person group ready to entertain you with sounds of the "swinging sixties." Hits from the Beach Boys, the Beatles, the Four Seasons, Motown groups like Martha and the Vandellas, Paul Revere and the Raiders, and many more hits from the era. The Beach Street A GoGo gang will be putting on a special two-hour show so our May concert will run from 7 to 9 pm. Be ready to listen, dance and sing along to a great night of music and fun. Remember that you can place your chairs in the Amphitheater after 10 am on Sunday morning. Feel free to bring a beverage or treats and make sure that you have your beverages in plastic or protected glass. There is no saving of seats by placing blankets on the ground. Come on down to the Amphitheater Sunday night and join your friends and neighbors for a fun night. ~ Mark Lassen, lassenqa@aol.com Neighborhood Watch Amphitheater
