54 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | MAY 2019 Motorcycle club It's springtime! For most people this means lush lawns, green trees, and flowers in bloom. However, for the Four Seasons Motorcycle Club (MC), springtime means more daylight, dry roads, mild weather, a lot more possible riding destinations with lots of miles in the saddle. Every Thursday the MC heads out for a ride and this is that perfect time of year when we can go just about anywhere. Our Thursday rides are usually about 150 miles to 250 miles. This means we can plan routes that take us to the desert, the mountains, or the coast. Regardless, we are pretty much assured that the weather will be perfect for riding. Come to think of it, it's been a while since we enjoyed lunch on the San Clemente pier. We'll have to do that again soon by way of the Ortega Highway. Recently we have been enjoying a route that takes us out to the Santa Rosa Plateau and DeLuz, taking back roads all the way into downtown Fallbrook. From there we make our way back to Rainbow for lunch and then we head home via the Temecula wine country. The back roads heading into Fallbrook are so beautiful that we have done this ride three times now in recent weeks. Springtime also kicks off the riding season and we celebrate it with our first multi-day ride of the new year. For 2019, we will be heading down to Tucson and Tombstone for a five-day adventure. Twelve riders are signed up for this one. We will have much more to say about this ride in our next Breeze article. The MC is made up of a bunch of riding enthusiasts who enjoy the camaraderie of group riding. Also, we aren't picky about what you ride. Our club is made up of all classes of motorcycles including full touring setups, sport tourers, adventure bikes, cruisers and trikes. So, if you ride and are thinking of joining the club, we invite you to come along on any of our Thursday rides to experience what it's all about. We meet in The Lodge parking lot around 8:45 am and we are on the road promptly at 9 am. We hope to see you. If you have any questions, feel free to call Terry Humble, Pres. at (909) 706-2298 or Scott Snyder, VP at (562) 714-7252 or Jim Ayala, Sec. at (951) 392-6259. ~ Jim Ayala, jimrayala95@gmail.com Taking a Starbucks break on the way to the Santa Rosa plateau.
