The San Gorgonio Ballet Company had a stellar performance, and was the first ballet on our stage. All of the students under the direction of Julia Olsen Rodriguez, as well as the guest performers, did a great show. Financial aid is a big part of this group, and we were happy to help. $1,851 was presented to the dance company at the conclusion of the show. Many donations and pledges were also made. Funds are needed for props, costuming and scholarships for those who cannot afford lessons. Any other club or group who would like to help them are welcomed. They are a legal 501(c)3 non-profit. We are hard at work for upcoming events. The Garden Club Fashion Show features the models showing fashions from the St. John store in Cabazon, RV Casuals, and our own pro shop. A total of 25 male and female members will be strutting the runway, and the stage. The upcoming Follies will feature two new numbers by the group. New members working hard to participate are: Carolyn Halbmaier, Jan Williams, Jan Taylor, Perla Williams, and Bill Williams. Dancers will definitely be a part of the Fourth of July celebration. New members are welcome to join at anytime. Contact Evelyn Hawkins, or any Stardust member. You choose what numbers you wish to participate in.
