Message From The President: The Art League Annual Social Potluck
is Wed., May 29 in the North Clubhouse at 5 pm. If you are interested in
becoming a member of the Art League, you are welcome to attend the
potluck. This is your opportunity to enjoy and learn about our club and
the different activities that we hold. We will provide live entertainment,
coffee and ice tea. If you are interested in attending, please call Rosa Y.

General Information: Our next general meeting is May 23 at 2 pm in the South
Clubhouse. There will be a Mini-Art Show with awards given, and after a brief business
meeting Sharon Rachal, our guest artist, will give a demonstration in watercolor
painting. She will then teach the watercolor classes on June 3, 10 and 17 in the Main
Clubhouse Arts and Crafts Room from 9 am until noon. The fee for the series of classes
is $30 for members and $35 for non-members. For questions or to enroll, call Rosa

The winners of the Mini-Art Show at our March meeting are below. The guest artist
that day (inset photo left) was Sun Lakes resident, Joe Oakes, who gave a demonstration
in Acrylic Painting.
The June 1 Art Show has been postponed and the new date will be announced
later.
