Check them out below. May 5: Cinco de Mayo Golf Tournament Scramble. Time to play some golf again after all this rain! Come join us on the Executive Course for a day of golf. Dinner following will be a Mexican feast catered by the fantastic Tacos and Beer in the North Clubhouse. The evening starts at 6 pm which includes T and B's wonderful food, door prize tickets for all golfers and margaritas until we run out. All this for only $20, $15 for dinner only guests. In case you don't want margaritas please bring your own beverage and don't forget your glass. Sign up as a single or twosome, check in time is 12:30, tee time at 1 pm. Golf fees paid to the Pro Shop the day of play. Any Executive Course handicaps please write on your check when you drop it off to Cindy and Joe Cross at 5905 Gullane Court. Social Singles ATTENTION: CHANGE IN LOCATION FOR DINNER DUE TO REMODELING OF THE SOUTH CLUBHOUSE — WE WILL BE MEETING IN THE NORTH CLUBHOUSE MAY ONLY. Our next dinner meeting is Fri., May 17 at 6 pm in the NORTH Clubhouse. Doors open at 5:30 pm. "Feliz Cinco De Mayo"… we're all Latino(a) on May 5 (or May 17)! Thomas Catering will be serving their mouth-watering chicken enchiladas, tamales, rice, refried beans, green salad, chips and salsa and flan for dessert! AND, Sun Lakes favorite crooner, Ed Avina, will be serenading us as only he can. Where could you get such a great meal for $17 and to top it off with entertainment provided by the singing group Diane and Ron. Guests living outside of Sun Lakes and are friends of a resident will be $20 pp. If you live in Sun Lakes you may come as a guest one time only, and then you WILL WANT to join the club. Make checks out to Social Singles and drop your checks off to Maggie Kline's home, 650 Brooklawn Dr. (north side) or put your check and reservation in the basket on the back table at the dinner. Those who want to sit together should put their checks in one envelope. Reservations and cancellations must be in the Friday before the dinner.
