| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MAY 2019 | 25 Paisano Club The Paisano Club will be having a fiesta celebrating "Cinco de Mayo" on Fri., May 10. We will be meeting in the South Clubhouse on the second Friday of May for fun and festivities. Enjoy a traditional Cinco de Mayo dinner of cheese enchiladas, street tacos, rice and beans and a Caesar salad with avocado dressing. A surprise dessert will highlight your evening spent with great friends and entertainment. Dress up if you like. Doors open at 5:30 pm. April's Spring Fling was a huge success! Flowers were blooming and birds were singing as we dined on Chicken Cordon Bleu with all the fixings. Our wonderful decorating committee continues to adorn the South Clubhouse, this month with festive decorations and bright spring colors. The club welcomed returning members and many new members. The evening was highlighted in the spirit of competition with fun and games! We are a growing club so here are a few things to remember: Checks for our monthly event can be dropped off at 610 Torrey Pines Road (box by front door) or given to Carol Choisnet at the event for the next month's dinner. The South Clubhouse can only seat 105 people, and reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. We do have a wait list for our events. If you need to cancel and would like to be reimbursed, you must do so one week prior to the event (the Friday before). If you need to cancel later than the prior Friday, you may pick up your dinner or have a friend pick one up for you. Call Jeri for any cancellations and she will help you set something up. She will accept cancellations up to 3 pm on the day of the event; she'll then call the next person in line on the wait list. Win win for everyone. The only requirement to be a member is that you enjoy having fun, like to meet new people and have a hearty appetite. Don't worry about not knowing anyone, we will always seat you at a table with fun loving people and we will do our best to honor seating requests. Questions?
