Did you make New Year's resolutions
that perhaps included meeting new
people, having more fun, and getting
some really good exercise? If so,
check out the POP Paddle Tennis Club. POP paddle tennis
is basically like tennis played on a much smaller court. Covering
the smaller court is easier for those who have achy or sore joints
or are just not quite as mobile as a few years ago. But just because
POP paddle tennis is played on a smaller court, don't be fooled into
thinking you're not going to get a good workout. Playing POP paddle
tennis is an opportunity to work on and improve many things such
as concentration, anticipation, court position, reflexes, coordination,
agility, stability, strategy, strokes, and knowing when to make that
awesome point-winning shot. Game scoring for POP paddle tennis is
the same as regular tennis. We have demo paddles available for new
players, and are happy to help get you started. We play on Tuesdays,
Thursdays and Fridays at 8 am. The courts are also available to our
club on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10 am. Need more
information? Call Suzanne at (951) 205-9588 or Jeanne at (951) 845-
8817.
Spring is in full bloom and, unfortunately,
for many of us all the allergens that come
with it. For those who suffer with extreme
sensitivities and allergies to numerous
allergens, please do not wear cologne or perfume to the courts.
