| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MAY 2019 | 63 Gratitude Let's spread positivity! If you have someone to thank or want to spread a little good cheer, please email your gratitude to sunlakesnews@yahoo.com. Put "Gratitude" in the subject line. If you would like to submit them in person, there is a gratitude box in the Main Clubhouse lobby. We've lived here 16 years this May. I am grateful for all the great friends I've met golfing. My golf sisters are so special to me. Our golf staff is awesome and our golf lunches at the club are always well served and organized. Thank you Sun Lakes for a caring community. ~ Kay Rawle With the gas PRICES skyrocketing we are SO THANKFUL living in a community with so many amenities where we can drive our golf carts more than our cars. ~ Robin Scharton Nemire I'm thankful for wonderful neighbors who truly care! ~ Nancy Hornbrook Hunt I am grateful for all the people who take time to say something nice about my photographs on Facebook. Even though I have never met many of them I feel like there are many friendly and kind people here in Sun Lakes. ~ Ann Davenport Kern I'm grateful for the great people who work the restaurants. Wonderful people all in all! ~ Douglas Hayden I am grateful to be living in a gated community, where I need never again stub my toe or trip over a rug while running to answer the doorbell, only to find someone trying to sell me a vacuum cleaner. ~ Sheryl Falgout Thank you to the restaurant and staff for a delicious lunch today for the San Gorgonio Hospital volunteers award luncheon. We have a wonderful chef and wait staff. ~ Linda Bishop Pfeiffer There are so many reasons I love living in Sun Lakes. If you haven't tried Pickleball, I highly recommend it. It's a sport that can be played at all levels. Since playing regularly, all of my health numbers have improved. Also, you meet the best people. We laugh and tease the whole time while at the same time getting the exercise we all need. We just need more courts! ~ Nancy Sheets I'm grateful for the beautiful streets and greenbelts we have to walk our dogs, and for the friendly neighbors (and their dogs) who stop to chat and greet my dog with a pat. ~ Barbara Elness
