Can you dig it? 6 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | MAY 2019 | By now, you should have seen the flyers for all of the amazing Charity Week Events. It is the party of the summer! Tickets are on sale Wednesdays and Fridays from 4 to 6 pm in the Main Clubhouse Lounge. You can buy pancake breakfast, raffle and helicopter ball drop tickets – and of course your ticket for the hottest event of the week, "Music That Changed the World," a 60s tribute on Friday night that includes food, drinks, dancing and some fun surprises. Drink tickets for the week will also be available. They are $3 each or 11 for $30, and you'll need a ticket wherever there is a Charity Bar. You can get all your tickets in one-stop shopping so bring your credit card, cash or checkbook. Sign up for the golf events: Twist and Shout Putting Contest, Monster Scramble, Pro/Am Golf Tournament and the Golf Cart rally. Forms are in the pro shop and Main Clubhouse lobby. Remember the deadline for the Pro/Am Tournament is May 10 – after that the price goes up! The Monday night Happy Hour and The Chili Cook-Off are fun, social and inexpensive. Some events are free and fun to just come and watch. Bring a friend to the Helicopter Ball Drop, the Friday Night Fireworks, the Golf Cart Rally, or the Saturday Shoot-Out. If you're not active, but want to support Sun Lakes Charities and our local non- profit organizations, there are also opportunities. Buy a raffle ticket, a helicopter ball ticket, or bid on one of the wonderful items at the live and silent auction. Flyers and entry forms can be downloaded from the Sun Lakes website.
