We are happy to feature Watercolorists in this exhibit: Shellie Bean, Cindi DeWeese, Lorraine Kleeman, Sarah Kolb, Bonnie Krichbaum, Jan Malone, Barbara Miller, Mary Ann Nepinsky, and Bonnie Roth. We appreciate Frank Boynton's help with the exhibit and the excitement of the artists upon viewing the completed installation. With a variety of subjects ranging from an adorable pup to little old ladies contemplating a computer, the range of watercolor technique is quite impressive. Be sure to read a little about each artist in the info pocket on the slatboard. If you'd like to show your artistry in a future exhibit, please contact Judy Harris or Lainy Vinikow. Enjoy! Stained Glass The two month beginner's class is coming along nicely. Everyone is learning a lot and having fun. Our new beginner's class that started in March, was fully booked. Another beginner's class will start on Thurs., July 11. Art Lovers OHCC's own Bonnie Roth will be our guest artist for our May 21, meeting. Many here are acquainted with her unique blend of high- relief clay sculptures painted on vividly painted backgrounds. Now she has added to her sculptures the kaleidoscopic brilliance of acrylic paint and alcohol ink. Bonnie's ideas come from life, flowers, gently flowing rivers, and even turbulent politics. It is their emotional colors that she wants to communicate in her art. Bonnie Lee Roth, AKA Branah Layah, has had a long and successful career in sculpture. Her artwork is displayed in over 100,000 homes worldwide. It has also appeared on many museum catalog covers. We look forward to meeting and engaging with Bonnie while she shares with us her artistic journey. Our meeting begins at 1 pm on Tues., May 21, in the Mykonos Room with refreshments being served at 12:30 pm.
