2013 Board of Directors Election The Sun Lakes HOA Annual Meeting of the Membership and Election of Directors will be Wed., April 10, in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. There will be two positions open for election. Each newly elected director will serve a two-year term. Campaigning will be permitted following the Mon., March 4, Meet the Candidates Forum. The Inspector of Election will review each candidacy form and place all eligible candidates on the ballot. Two ���Meet the Candidates��� forums will be held. The first forum will be Mon., March 4, at 6 pm and the second will be Tues., March 5 at 10 am. Both forums will be conducted in the Main Clubhouse Ballroom. Ballots will be mailed out on Tues., March 5. Community Systematic Inspection Program The Code Enforcement Department is continuing to visually inspect and photograph all front yards of homes and golf course lots, including rear yards of homes (if visible from the street or common area) in all 23 Districts, including Lakeside, Lakeside II and Fairway Villas. The objective for this ongoing inspection is to determine if a home is out of compliance that needs to be corrected and if there are improvements identified that have not been approved by the Master Architectural Committee. If a home is found out of compliance or has an unapproved improvement, a letter from the Code Enforcement Department will be sent to the resident identifying the non-compliance in detail, how to correct it and a correction date. requested in writing to meet with the Master Architectural Committee for further discussion. If the non-compliance is not corrected, the resident may receive a non-compliance letter which could result in fines and/or disciplinary action. All owners and residents within Sun Lakes Country Club, including Lakeside, Lakeside II and Fairway Villas should be familiar with and are obligated to comply with the CC&Rs, Architectural Standards and other governing documents. These documents are available on the sunlakescc.com website or you may obtain them from the Administration Office. This year���s relay is on May 11 and 12 and Beaumont Sports Park. You don���t have to be a walker to be involved, there are lots of ways you can help.
