Rules & Regulations The CC&R amendment concerning age restriction has been approved. The number of ballots that were sent out to homeowners of record was 1,007. Ballots returned were 739. There were 683 ���yes��� votes, 66 ���no��� votes and two abstentions. I would like to thank the Rules and Regulations Committee, the Board of Directors and the many homeowners that allowed the use of their homes for the mini town hall meetings. Without their efforts our success would not have been possible. The ���Motorized Device Rules��� have been adopted and will be included in the next mailing to the homeowners. The Holiday Decoration/Lights guidelines were reviewed by the Rules and Regulations Committee and the Architectural Review Committee and it was determined that no change was necessary. You are invited to attend the Rules and Regulations Committee meetings. They are held on the third Thursday of every month at 9 am in the Lodge Conference Room. ~ Ron Morgan In January, the homeowners on Blowing Rock and Archers Place gathered at the home of Bob and Toni Finer for a Pot Luck White Elephant Party with new neighbors and friends. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food and had a great time getting to know each other. The White Elephant Exchange was a big hit��� Christine Stephens (bottom right) got a silver fish to hang on her wall which no one wanted to steal! Jim Bushnell (top right) got a basketball hoop that goes over his head and special eye glasses which he took home. Bob Finer (top left), who isn���t a golf fan, got a Golfer���s Tear-A Part Stress Doll. The Blowing Rock neighbors hope that this is the first annual White Elephant Party.
