Social Singles Our next dinner meeting is Fri., June 21 at 6 pm in the South Clubhouse. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Dust off your old bikini and bring your ukulele, we are having a beach party! DJ Catering will be serving Caesar salad, apricot chicken, rice pilaf, fresh fruit salad, Hawaiian rolls and butter, AND for dessert, yummy pineapple upside down cake. He's back… that fun singer, Tony Lopez, will be entertaining us for singing and dancing. Where could you get such a meal for only $17. Guests living outside of Sun Lakes and are friends of a resident will be $20 pp. If you live in Sun Lakes you may come as a guest one time only, and then you will want to join the club. Make checks payable to Social Singles and drop your checks off at Maggie Kline's home, 650 Brooklawn Dr. (north side) or put your check and reservation in the basket on the back table. Those that want to sit together should put their checks in one envelope. Reservations and cancellations must be in the Friday before. If you know of anyone who is sick or needs cheering up, please contact our Sunshine chair, Marvine Cirar at (951) 845-7844 and she will send them a card. Upcoming events Spreading Sunshine Our Wine Tasting Event is still being talked about — it was such a hit! Everyone had a great time and learned a lot about wine. The food was delicious, thank you to Michelle Walter, and the company even better. We are dark in June but have scheduled a Hawaiian Luau on July 13, Music under the Stars on Aug. 31, and a different and fun Golf Cart Rally on Sept. 15. You won't want to miss any of these events. Our dues are still only $10 pp. Get them in as soon as possible so that you will be able to get our emails and participate in all our events.
