The June art classes will be on Mondays, June 3, 10
and 17, in the Main Clubhouse Arts and Crafts Room,
from 9 am until noon. The instructor will be the well-
known artist Sharon Rachal and she will be teaching
watercolor painting. The cost for the series is $30
for members and $35 for non-members. For

The winners of the Mini Art Show at our April
meeting were: Best of Show, Jo Taylor; 1st place, Mike
Barrett; 2nd place, Judy Steenson; 3rd place, Carolyn Wilkes.
The guest artist was Steve McGill, who did a demonstration
in the art of pastels.
The next general meeting will be Thurs., June 27 at 2
pm in the South Clubhouse. There will be a brief business
meeting, a Mini Art Show, and a painting demonstration
given by our guest artist, Suni Godbold, who will also teach
the classes in July. They will be held in the Main Clubhouse
Arts and Crafts Room on July 8,15 and 22.
The 2019 Art Show, which was previously advertised,
has been postponed until Sat., Oct. 5 in the Main Clubhouse
Ballroom. Watch for the exciting announcements coming in
the near future. This allows more time for our talented Sun
Lakes artists to prepare for the show.
