26 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2019 Summer in the city? Not exactly. Four Seasons at Beaumont is a much better place to spend the summer. In addition to beautiful surroundings and outdoor activities, we also have wonderful, free outdoor entertainment, barbecues and pools! The concert series at our amphitheater is the place to go in the summer. Concerts began in May and extend through September. The list of upcoming concerts is available on our website and at The Lodge, but if last year's schedule is any indication, it will be great. The May concert was fabulous and more enjoyable when everyone follows the rules. There are some rules to observe while enjoying these events. All glass containers must be in a protective sleeve. You must pick up your own trash. There is no sitting on the center steps for your safety and the safety of others. Other rules are: you cannot place chairs in the amphitheater before 10 am on concert days, and you may not save multiple chair areas with large blankets. Before the concert, many residents like to barbecue. Barbecues can be found at The Lodge, The Summit, and The Courts and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Users must provide all utensils, paper and plastic goods and no glass is allowed. After barbecuing, you must leave the area in a clean condition and remove all trash. The barbecues must be cleaned and shut off prior to leaving the area. Because of the possibility of injury, there must be at least one adult resident or other adult to accompany and supervise each group of three or fewer children. When it gets too hot, we can always cool off in one of our pools. While The Summit and The Courts pools are limited to residents and their adult guests, The Lodge pool is open for guests under the age of 18 during the hours of 1 and 4 pm daily. Diving is not allowed, and running, pushing or boisterous play is also not permitted. There must be at least one resident to accompany and supervise each group of three or fewer children. There is no lifeguard on duty. These rules are in place to make sure that pool users are considerate to others, and that everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience. The Rules & Regulations Committee meets on the second Tuesday of the month at 9 am in the RCN Conference Room. If you are interested in serving the community by becoming a committee member, you will need to attend three meetings.
