Do you enjoy the music of Billy Joel, Elton John, Carole King or Jerry Lee Lewis? Our June band is a great four piece group dedicated to playing the music of the great piano rock bands. The Kings of 88 will entertain us on Sunday, June 23 with music as varied as Stevie Wonder and Barry Manilow to the Beatles and Rolling Stones. The concert will start at 7 pm and run until 8:30 pm. You can set up your chairs at the Amphitheater after 10 am on Sunday, the day of the show. Feel free to bring snacks or drinks, just remember to have glass bottles in a protective sleeve or bag. Come on down to the Amphitheater and join your friends and neighbors for a great night of wonderful music. The Amphitheater group and the "techies" look forward to seeing you there! ~ Mark Lassen Amphitheater FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2019 35 On May 8, our guest speakers were Sergeant Chris Ramos of the Beaumont Police Department, and a police dispatcher. The topics covered were how to report crime and criminal activity. Also, what is necessary to give a description of a suspect/suspicious person that would help police dispatchers and officers locate these individuals? As usual, our session was well attended and our residents asked numerous pertinent questions. Thank you to the Beaumont Police Department for making themselves available to our residents and for conducting a very interesting presentation. On June 12 at 10 am, the Neighborhood Watch General Meeting will be training on the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and CPR. This is not a certification program, but will be conducted by Kim Nelson, RN Nursing Trainer and two other nurses from San Gorgonio Hospital. This has been an important training program for our residents, so please mark your calendars if you haven't already done so. A sign-up sheet is available in The Lodge. As always, there is no charge for participation in this program. National Night Out for our residents will be on July 25. Plan to join our community in a show of spirit and energetic determination that will enhance our neighborhood's safety throughout the entire year. Doors open at 5:30 pm for dessert and refreshments, and our program will start at 6 pm. Our guest speakers will be from the Beaumont Police, City Council, and City Manager. Also, representatives from Banning Police, California Highway Patrol and local fire departments will be in attendance. Mark your calendar for July 25. All residents are welcome. We are still having issues with speeding on Four Seasons Circle, and failure to stop at stop signs. Beaumont Police have been patrolling our community to help keep us safe. Traffic tickets have been issued for speeding and stop sign violation. Please slow down and stop at stop signs. Thank you to our Block Captains and all of our Neighborhood Watch members for all that you do to keep our community safe. ~ Jerry Monahan, (951) 212-8898 Neighborhood Watch
