40 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2019
In April, we held our next meeting of the newly revised "Photography
Club." There was a good turnout and it is obvious the interest in our club
has grown. Club members had the opportunity to introduce themselves
to the other members. We have a diverse group ranging from beginners
to professionals. This month our great photo of the month was shot by
Nanette Scott using an iPhone.
We continue to discuss what members would like to see in the new
club. Members were asked to make their requests for topics known to
the club for inclusion into our club planning and future agenda. Several
volunteers have stepped forward.
In April, ReNae Stueve, made an excellent video presentation on
"Photographing Flowers" and a discussion of various camera settings for
getting great flower shots. She also displayed various hardware samples
like clamps, shades, and reflectors for flower set ups. This was a hands-
on demonstration. The club members all enjoyed her presentation.
Based on ReNae's presentation, the Photograph Challenge for the May
meeting was flowers.
Members are sending in photos via a new email location set up by
Peter Shuttleworth for the photos they wish to share with the group.

Thanks to Larry Colby for his May presentation on the topic of the
color "Yellow," what it is, and why it's important. Members use skills
learned in a photo challenge for the June meeting. Larry will set our
June Photography Challenge.
New members are always welcome to sit in or join our club. Our goal
is to learn, share, and have fun with photography. The meeting is June
18 at 6:30 pm, in the RCN. Contact John Baeyertz – johnbz1453@gmail.
