22 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2019
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee held its regular meeting on April 30. The financial statement for March 2019 was
reviewed and recommended for BOD approval. Highlights of the March financial report follows.
Total Assets are $9,152,245 including checking $525,202 and reserve assets of $7,158,157. Operating
money market and CDs totaled $1,279,590. Total Liabilities currently are $330,234 and Total Equity of
$1,663,855 is a surplus balance. There was a net income gain for the month of $65,099. Front yard cost
center expenses were under budget by $9,247 and Springdale cost center expenses were over budget by
$231. At the end of the first quarter we are under budget by $167,079. This budget variance is attributed
to several line items that have lower utilization/expenses associated during this time period, e.g. water, tree
trimming, and landscaping but will be larger in the coming months.
Five vendor proposals were reviewed. All proposals were recommended for Board approval. Six
committee persons, and Ed Paules and Jolene Cooley, Board Liaisons, were present. There is an opening
on the Finance Committee. If you are interested, please come to our next meeting on June 25. ~ Baron
