6 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JUNE 2019 This has been one chilly spring so far and I hope we find June just a tad bit warmer, not hot, just warm (first world problems you know). There are several fun events to be looking for this June and one that we hope is going to be super informational. The informational event is a Town Hall meeting on June 4 at 6 pm in the Ballroom, regarding the guest policy for Four Seasons clubs, groups and classes. It is a hot topic for many on both sides. Your voice is important in regard to this issue. Our goal, as we work on new club guidelines, is to simplify our Club, Group and Class Matrix that is in the Community Guidelines currently. Now that we are nearly at build-out, it's important for our Guidelines to better represent what the residents of Four Seasons would like. We also think that it's important that it protects the Association and so it gives equal benefits and equal responsibilities to each of the clubs, groups and classes. It is actually a lot more complicated than one would think at first appearance. What might work for one group may not work for others. Come and see our presentation at the Town Hall, learn of what John Noonan and I have been working on regarding this project over the last several months and let us hear your opinion. We love this community and we want clubs, groups, and classes to represent the lifestyle that you envisioned when you bought into this wonderful neighborhood. See you there! If you went to our huge Craft Boutique and thought to yourself, "Gee, I should have purchased a table for my homemade crafts," then you're in luck! We will be having another Harvest Craft Fair on Oct. 19, and you're welcome to participate. All you have to do is attend the mandatory Craft Fair vendor meeting on Wednesday, June 12, at 6 pm, in The Lodge Ballroom. You'll wait in line until the doors open, and then you'll pull a number (like a lottery), which determines what order you will be in to choose your craft table. You'll bring a check for $5 to pay for your table and sit through a delightful talk on what to expect. Barbara Miller will be sending out a friendly reminder by email if you have participated in the past; if you haven't, just show up. Looking forward to meeting another creative resident. It's back by popular demand! "Movie Night Under The Summit Stars," sponsored by the Amphitheater Production Group, will show another great flick on The Summit outdoor green. Bring your own chair and evening snacks and drinks, maybe even a cozy blanket and a friend. There is no cost to attend. The first showing is Friday, June 21, at 8 pm. At this writing, the movie is still being chosen, so stay tuned to the Daily Report for the movie selection. I hope to see you there. Have a terrific June: forget about the gloom, and here's to the best summer ever! P.S. If you haven't yet voted for the CC&R change, please ask for a ballot at The Lodge, The Courts, The Summit, or RCN front desks. Activities Director Corner By Cindy Graves, Activities Director Saphire Rhodes - thank you so much for all your hard work with getting the pool tables refurbished. You are awesome! Gracy L. If you have seen an act of kindness or have received one, please share with the community. Let's spread gratitude! Just go to The Lodge lobby and fill out a gratitude note and put in the box marked "The Box of Gratitude." Thank you. Spreading Gratitude in Four Seasons
