| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JUNE 2019 | 25 Players Theater Our next play entitled, Funny Little Thing Called Love by authors Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten is scheduled for Sat., June 29. The play is directed by Sandy Tiffin with cast members: Ginny Cole-Weaver, Jim and Betty Crase, Dick English, Esther Feigenbaum, Chris Pounders, Rudy Rich, Noreen Scott, Chuck Sims, and Dona Wurzel. There will also be singing from our members Lanny French, Noreen Scott and Candace and Quinn Hawley. So open your heart to romantic mayhem and come join the fun! By the time the evening is over and the moon works its magic, love will conquer all and your sides will ache from laughter! Tickets are currently on sale at the reception desk at $7 which includes refreshments at intermission. Our final play of the year is scheduled for Sat., Oct. 5 and is a "Readers Theater Encore" of past short plays. We are now in the process of picking and timing several short plays from years ago that we know you will enjoy and find very funny! If you are interested in joining us, we meet every third Friday of the month at 1 pm in the Ballroom unless there is a rehearsal. You can contact me at (951) 599-4626 with any comments or questions. We are also in need of a backup/trainee for a Sound Technician. The person must be able to lift some equipment and have some knowledge with wireless equipment. You should be willing to learn mixer and speaker output and not mind learning beyond the scoped mentioned. Please, without this person, we cannot utilize our microphones which is pertinent to our performances. Let's join TGIF to be with friends to enjoy a great dinner. If you are a new resident, TGIF is the place to meet your neighbors and new friends. We love to have new residents join us and you get to eat first! Bring a dish to share with 8 – 10, your own utensils, dishes and beverage of your choice. We will provide hot water, instant coffee, tea and ice. Don't forget our raffle. Tickets are two for $1. We always have some great prizes.
