There will be no meetings of the Photography Club during June and July. However, club members will be busy shooting photos that
capture the best scenes from their summer activities. On Thurs., Aug. 15, at 1 pm these pictures will be shown and critiqued during the next
regular club meeting. Nearer the time, we will have information about deadlines and instructions for submission of photos.
For the fall photoshoot, we are planning a trip to Queen Caliphia's Magic Circle in Kit Carson Park, Escondido, and date yet to be decided.
This amazing creation is the only American sculpture garden and the last major international project created by French artist Niki de Saint
Phalle (1930-2002), said to be inspired by California's mythic, historic, and cultural roots. Again, nearer the time we will have information
about deadlines and instructions for submission of photos for the slideshow and competition.
