FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2019 27
Summer brings a whole list of things that need to be done in and
around our homes. While painting is not an every-year task, some
of the first homeowners in Four Seasons Beaumont are seeing a need
to repaint their homes. Others simply don't love the color and want
a change. This can be done with ARC approval, if the colors are ones
currently used in Four Seasons Beaumont.
Architectural Guidelines and Standards states, "any change in
the color of the exterior of a building must receive written approval
of ARC (Architectural Review Committee). Approval will not be
necessary if the exterior color is to be the same as the original color."
In most instances ARC will grant permission to change the color
if the new colors are the same or similar to other color schemes in
the community.
When submitting an application also known as a Schedule A, to
change your paint color, it will be necessary to provide paint color
samples indicating what areas of the home will be painted which
color.
While the ARC members are familiar with colors currently used
in the community, there may be instances where the committee will
need to research the colors that were chosen and look for homes
using the same colors. This may cause a delay of two or more
weeks. You can prevent this delay by including a color photograph
of a house located in Four Seasons Beaumont painted the colors
you are seeking to have approved. Please include the address of the
example home(s). The photo should include the house number to
make identification easier. ~ Steve Cooley, cooleyaudit@gmail.
