64 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2019 Wild Bunch Billiards The "Wild Bunch" 8-Ball Billiards Group is geared for those individuals who want to play competitively with those of their skill level. We started the new year with inviting the "best of the best" from Sun Lakes and Solera to play competition on Fridays, from 12:30 to 3:30 in our Billiards Room at Four Seasons. It has been a great success with the skill levels ranging from Level four to Level seven. The Billiard tables are done! They have been re-covered, new pockets, new speed bumpers, and leveled correctly. The "Wild Bunch" 8-Ball Billiards Group was instrumental in getting this done, and everyone is enjoying playing on more competitive tables. The "Wild Bunch" consists of some of the best players in the league: Joe Spinella, Lucas Don, Bob Rector, Mike Corbett, Carlos Rivera, LeRoy Wright, Rocket Spinosa, and Gracy Luna. If you want to play serious, competitive pool, we invite you to come by the Billiards Room and join in the stimulation of competitive play. We do not play with partners; we play one-on-one with an opponent of our skill level. We are always looking for those who want to play competitively and, who knows, you just may want to change up your game and play on the team! And, most important, we have a good time! ~ Gracy Luna, gracyluna@aol.com Fishing Club Happy Forth of July to all my fishing buddies. I hope that you have been having a good time fishing this summer. I have filled up my freezer with fish so now I am in the giving fish away mode. My wife is giving fish to all her friends and believe me she has a bunch of friends. I was in two fishing derbies so far this year. One was in Lake Havasu and the other one was in Big Bear Lake. I won a few fishing items, however I was not lucky enough to win any money. I will keep trying to win, however the fishing is the main reason that I go to these fishing events. I plan on going ocean fishing as much as I can this summer. Fishing is expected to be great this year in the ocean and I am really looking forward to going and having a great time with some of my fishing friends here at Four Seasons. My health is pretty good at the moment so I will make the most of it and do what I love to do. The biggest fish I ever caught in the ocean was a 65-pound Dorado. I expect to go after the tuna this year and maybe catch one over a hundred pounds. To be truthful to you I can be catching minnows and still have a great time. It is starting to get real hot during the day so I plan on doing some night fishing for catfish. The best lake I have found to catch catfish is Fisherman's retreat in Beaumont. I have three pretty good size ones in the freezer that I plan on deep frying and making short work of. To be truthful catfish is my favorite fish to eat. Tight lines to all my fishing friends and remember always be ready to go fishing with friends and neighbors. Never turn down a fishing trip that may be the best trip of your life. ~ Richard Carrasco, ricarrasco52@gmail.com and Diana Ali Dennis Boozer with trophy bass he caught from Diamond Valley Lake, Tracy Maxwell and Richard Carrasco look on Dennis Boozer, Terry Miller, Richard Carrasco, and norm Schipske with a mess of trout from local lake
