Players Theater
The performance of Funny Little Thing called Love was a
huge hit! The audience enjoyed a fun evening and laughed at
this hilarious production.
Our next play is a Readers Theater Encore with several short
stories from our scripts that began in 2006. It will be performed
on Sat., Oct. 5. We are now in the process of picking radio
scripts and/or parts of plays we have performed in the past.
After reading several scripts, I know you will enjoy the evening.
Kudos to one of our actors, Chuck Sims, who won an award
for Supporting Male Role in Inherit the Wind performed with
the Ramona Hillside Players. Congratulations Chuck!
We are in very much need of actors! Remember, there is
no memorization as we carry our scripts with us during the
performance. We meet every third Friday of the month at 1 pm
in the Ballroom unless there is a rehearsal. You can contact me
at (951) 599-4626 with any comments or questions.
We are also in need of a backup/trainee for a Sound
Technician. The person must be able to lift some equipment and
have some knowledge with wireless equipment. If interested,
please contact Ross Brunetto at (951) 926-8295.
We thank you for your continued support in attending our
productions. ~ Chris Pounders, Chair
TGIF
There will be no TGIF on July 5 or Aug. 2 due to the Fourth of
July celebration on the plaza, and vacations in August.
TGIF will return in September. Mark your calendars and we
look forward to seeing you then! Watch the Herald for updates.
