The focus of this month's article is to inform all of you about two issues affecting our staff and the Architectural Committee (ARC). The first issue is the ARC has been and is currently dealing with residents having exterior alterations, modifications started, performed, and/or completed without ARC approval. This includes, but is not limited to painting, adding/removing rock, trees and/or shrubs, which all require ARC approval. Folks, the architectural review process in itself is not real complicated, yet can be if a resident fails to submit plans before they begin work. The CC&R's require that owners, before commencing with any alteration, modification, landscaping, etc., obtain written approval of the ARC. So, bottom line… we are asking, begging, pleading with you to PLEASE GET APPROVAL FIRST! The second issue is a result of our regularly scheduled property inspections. We are discovering architectural violations that were not approved by the ARC, involving homes for sale. When we notice a "For Sale" sign in the front yard, we make note of the address, review the property and files for any maintenance or architectural violations. If any are found, they will be addressed at that time. If you are planning on doing any type of improvement to your yard or have any doubts if what you are planning needs approval, please contact the Lodge office during business hours. We are happy to spend time with you to answer your questions. It will save a lot of time that can be spent elsewhere. Reminder on pool guests — if you are bringing guests to the pool during the noon to 5 pm time frame, you must register them. Registration takes place daily at the pool. Also, please take time to re-acquaint yourself with our guest rules. The Board hopes that all residents and their guests can enjoy the pool and asks that you treat your fellow residents with respect especially when grandchildren are visiting. One last reminder, diapers are prohibited in the pool. May you and your family have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July! There is a lot to be thankful for. | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JULY 2019 | 5 General Manager's Message By Rick Ruth
