You were energetic, enthusiastic, friendly, and helpful! And I thank you so much. You may also like to know that we raised over $6,000 for charity. Thank you to all who attended to make this event a success. We appreciate your generosity! I hope you had a lot of fun — I know we did! Now for the rest of the year. Last month I gave you a list of upcoming events through August. Now I will list the events through December. Just remember that this list is always in the works, with event updates and changes as needed. But first, a late entry for August. Something you have been asking for years… a community wide yard sale (open to the public, more info to follow). Please do not call me and ask questions just yet. I will put out notification in an email blast and in the newsletter for sign-ups and cost. There is no limit to the number of homes that can participate, so no worries on being left out… now for the rest of the year. SEPT. 24: Music on the Plaza with Blue Breeze. $5 each; BYOR, chair and snacks SEPT. 28: Oktoberfest (more information coming) OCT. 19: 6th Annual Car Show OCT. 26: Fall Marketplace in the Ballroom and on the Plaza. Sign-ups will be coming in July OCT. 29: Music on the Plaza and Halloween Costume Contest, 5 to 7 pm on the plaza. BYOR, chair and snacks. OCT. 30 - NOV. 5: "Remembering Our Fallen Vets" FREE Display in the Ballroom. Invite your family and friends to view this display of all fallen California Veterans NOV. 9: Casino Night DEC. 3: Decorate the Lodge for the holidays DEC. 8: Holiday Home Tour (ticket fee goes to help Salvation Army provide Christmas gifts for needy children) DEC. 14: Christmas Cart Parade and Christmas Program DEC. 31: New Year's Eve Party Have you signed up for email blasts yet? This is the BEST way to stay informed as to what is going on in this community, not just for activities, but community-wide concerns, Board meetings and directives, Bistro Specials, and more.
