8 SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | JULY 2019
By Raul Villa, Resident
Over 200 of Solera Diamond Valley residents, family, and friends attended this
years Memorial Day Jubilee. Opening ceremonies began with the Presentation
of the Colors by Howard Robertson, Joe Juchno, Tom Bird, and Tom McCain
followed by "Taps" by Raul Villa. The Invocation was composed and read by
Steven Day. This was all followed by our own personal fly-over presented by
pilots David Mundwiler and Doug Madore, flying out of Hemet-Ryan Airport.
And everyone were treated to the great sounds of "One-2-Many." This years
raffle gave away a record 44 prizes. The grand prize raffle winners were Alex
Jeric for the flat screen TV, and Hilary Ross for the power generator. Also this
year we did a 50/50 drawing that netted $280 for Chris Fullerton.
Thank-you to all the vendors and residents who donated prizes, food, and
time in helping the Veterans & Friends to make this patriot event a great success.
And thank-you for helping us with our goal to help Veterans and Non-Veterans
with-in the Diamond Valley area.
