The Veterans club will be providing the food and you can purchase your food tickets at the front or through the Veterans Club. Activities include musical guest Dixieland Stew, an ice shaving station, face painting, various games and a dunk tank — all of which is free. Those of you wishing to participate in the dunk tank(maybe a board member?) please sign up at the front desk. We need at least eight volunteers. This event is going to be loads of fun to kick start your independence day! Monday, July 8 - 10 am lodge ballroom Nutrition with dr. combs Join Dr. Combs in a discussion about healthy eating, chemicals in foods, trendy diets, and more. Friday, July 19 - 6 pm, $20 lodge back patio: the shagwells Join us in the Lodge Back Patio as SDV recreates the British Invasion! The Shagwells are the Premier Tribute to the British Rock Invasion of the early 1960s and 1970s. The Shagwells will have you out of your seat dancing and singing along to hit after hit and feeling like a teenager all over again. You'll be taken back in time as you listen to iconic hit songs by the greats, such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Zombies, The Hollies, The Yardbirds, The Dave Clark Five, The Kinks, The Moody Blues, The Animals, The Searchers, The Easybeats, The Who, Them, Procol Harum, Gerry and The Pacemakers, Herman's Hermits, Spencer Davis Group and many more. Seating is limited so sign up today. The popularity of The Shagwells has grown by leaps and bounds. Be sure to catch them if you can, when they come to Solera Diamond Valley. Saturday, July 27 - 5 pm, $10 lodge outdoor pool animal house toga party Attention all gods and goddesses, you are invited to our first annual Animal House Toga Party here at the Mountain Lodge outdoor pool. If you have seen the hilarious movie Animal House, we are recreating the famous Frat Toga Party as seen in the movie. We will have a live DJ, beverages, and delicious appetizers as we party the night away frat style. Toga outfits are option, frankly dress however you feel comfortable just come and join in the shenanigans. Friday, July 5 - 5:30-8:30 pm no charge • lodge lounge lounge night with showdown Join us for an evening of music and fun in the Lodge Lobby featuring Showdown. This is our first Lounge Night event of the year. So put on your dancing shoes, grab your wine, and join us in the Lobby for an evening of socializing and dancing.
