Choral Society
We hope all of you enjoyed our Spring Concert. It was a drizzly
day in May, so our desire was to brighten everyone's afternoon. Your
applause is our much-appreciated reward.
Many individuals work hard to make our concerts so successful.
The Choral Society would like to thank Donna Russell for her
leadership. Her sense of humor and musical background add up to
make our rehearsals fun. We also would like to thank Garneth, our
pianist, for her expertise and patience as we practice our parts.
The members of Recreation Department are the behind the scenes
wizards! Our rehearsal room is always set up for us, the stage seating
is prepped for us, as well as the after concert treats. The Audio Visual
Department makes us look good during the concert. However, there
is a lot of prep work that goes into that polished presentation. Many
thanks go to the A/V Department!
A big thank you also goes out to our patrons! Their financial
support helps us purchase our music.
The Spring Concert was also the time we said a fond farewell to
Donna Russell who "retired" from the Choral Society. She will be
dearly missed.
Why does the Choral Society sing? Because it is fun. We look
forward to our rehearsals and the joy we get from singing with
our friends. In September, we will start rehearsing for our Winter
Concert. Hope to see you there!
