36 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | AUGUST 2019 The interest in our club continues to grow. The June meeting was well-attended. We have a diverse group ranging from beginners to professionals. Thanks to John Hansen for leading the June meeting. John introduced the proposed new "Monthly Tips" to our agenda. The proposal is to provide a time for any member to discuss and share a favorite photographic tip that other members may enjoy. Subjects could include any short demonstration, example or discussion of ideas, gear, devices, or anything that may help us become better photographers. This is now an ongoing part of our monthly meetings. Members are bringing their cameras or phones to the meetings and breaking into small groups to get their questions answered by knowledgeable club members. In June, we reviewed members' photographs of "The Color Yellow." Everyone enjoyed seeing the photographs using yellow to see what we learned. In July, we discussed our photographs of fireworks and the Fourth of July pictures. Thank you for all your submissions for the Breeze. Due to space and size limits only two pictures are selected. Please keep sending in your favorites. It's our goal to feature new photographers each month. New members are always welcome to sit in or join our club. Our goal is to learn, share, and have fun with photography. The meeting is on Tuesday, Aug. 20 at 6:30 pm, in the RCN Main Room. Since we will be coming back for new music, this is the perfect time to join us, especially if you have been thinking about it, or are new to Four Seasons. We will work on our breathing, posture, and singing voices, as well as getting our voices back into singing shape. Even though an August start seems early for a December show, there aren't as many weeks as you think. We meet Mondays from 3 to 5 pm in the Ballroom. If you would like to join us, be included in my email list, or have questions about the Four Seasons Singers, call (951) 797-3466 or email me at bawasco@ dc.rr.com.
