I see GOLD! Gold medals, that is. At the 2019 Loma Linda Spring Games
several of our Pickleball players won 1st place. Everyone has worked hard to
continue striving for a better game, and their work has paid off.
An important reminder is to wear sunscreen no matter what time of day it is
with an SPF of at least 50 or higher. Skin cancer at our age seems to be prevalent,
therefore, a hat is a must while playing in our hot California sun. Visors do not
protect the top of your head, so the best hats are those that are like a baseball
hat with a very large brim for both men and women. SPF clothing with cooling
abilities work well to keep you cool and also protect your skin from the sun.
Come to the Pickleball courts most mornings, late afternoon, and on Saturdays
to check us out and join in the fun. The schedule is posted just outside of The
