14 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | AUGUST 2019 | Well, here it is August already — I like to think of it as "Thursday Night Movies on the Patio" month. The ladies will be handing out candy and popcorn for snacks, but it's also very easy to pop over a little early and enjoy the cool air while eating in the Bistro or get something to-go and enjoy dining outside under the stars before or while watching the movie. Louise already has a flier in circulation naming the neat movie choices for our viewing pleasure. Francisco is adding another beverage to the soft drink fountain, a Coca Cola Company dispenser. 7-Up is not an option but hopefully something like Sprite or Mountain Dew will be welcomed by the non- caffeine and diet soda drinkers. The menu for the Oct. 19, Car Show, will be a repeat of last year's winning menu: omelets for breakfast, dogs and hamburgers at lunchtime. The Social Committee is working on presenting a Casino Night on Nov. 9, we are hoping to do something different for food choices, something to spark your palette while winning at gambling. I'm excited and promise to keep you posted. Our two very happy winners of the free Sunday Brunch are Ed and Julie Rodriguez. Their ticket was pulled by Mari Salazar at the BOD meeting on June 26. What a great way to welcome the Rodriquez's who have recently chosen to live and enjoy life at Four Seasons. I also understand they are joiners and may have already opted to participate in the action of a few of our many available clubs. Our employee profile for August is Tina Aldridge, who will mark six years of serving us this month. Tina moved from La Mirada, CA to Hemet to be closer to her mother and grandmother 20 years ago. She has been married 23 years to Chip, who has two sons, ages 33 and 27. For fun, Tina is always ready to go and play at the river. She also loves to hang out with family and friends which would include watching baseball, especially the Angels anytime she can. She is very proud of her daughter and the wonderful woman she has become at the young age of 27. Her dreams for the future are simple, she wishes good heath and happiness for her family and herself.
