| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | AUGUST 2019 | 29 Tennis Friends Whether on the courts or off, Tennis Friends stay active participating in the array of activities offered at Four Seasons. Music on the Plaza is a group favorite. Players often get together for a fun evening of listening to a variety of bands, while working on their footwork dancing to rock n' roll, country, oldies and other types of music. Come join the fun with this group of active, friendly tennis players. Scheduled times: Women's begin at 9 am, Monday and Friday; Men's begin at 8 am, Tuesday and Thursday; Mixed-up doubles begins at 8 am, Saturday. Our Awards Banquet was June 27. Our tables were beautiful and everyone enjoyed their meal provided by Francisco's Bistro. The first place team is "Mission in Bocce Ball." Their team has five members, only four played in the finals and they were Bobbie Davis, Patt Gilliland, Steve Ariano and Chuck Sims, their fifth player was Francoise Bach. The team who took second place is "Fireballs" and their members are Lee and Barbara Shealy and Pat and Patsy Racine. Each team is pictured below accepting their awards. We had a special gift for the nine players who scored a two point Bocce (Kiss) this year. They were Monica Scholls, Carol Webber, Cheryl Dewberry, Rory Finley, Rusty Quindoza, John O'Connor, Ron Dewberry, Barry Wilson and Mary Reynolds. Remember any resident of Four Seasons may sign out the Bocce equipment and play at any time. The Lodge attendant will be happy to assist you. They will take you to the SPA building where the older equipment is stored and give it to you for your use. You would then return the bag to the door of the storage area and let the attendant know that you are finished. They will put it back at their leisure. If you are new to the game and would like some coaching, please contact me to set up a day and time.
