The annual Art League Potluck Dinner was held in May. After a wonderful dinner and social hour, our president, Rosa Gascoigne, introduced the 2019 board members and chairmen. A variety of beautiful music was provided by singer/ instrumentalist, Doug Anderson, for our dining and dancing pleasure. Thank you to the organizers of this special evening event: Rosa Gascoigne, Betty Jo Taylor, John Wells, Jo and Lyn Taylor. The Art League had an entry in the Fourth of July parade and celebration held at the Main Clubhouse. Thank you to Jerry and Helen Searcy, Alice O'Neil, Joann Quigley, June Kesson, and Paulina Jaramillo, who worked together to decorate the golf cart so beautifully. They won third place in the cart division. The theme of the parade this year was "American Pride" and the committee certainly captured that theme with their decorations, which paid tribute to the USA moon landing that was 50 years ago this month.
