LIFESTYLE DIRECTOR REPORT

With the hot summer months almost gone, make sure you get out of your house and down to the
Mountain View Lodge to take part in the fantastic events that are taking place. This month kicks off
with our Pancake Breakfast on August 3 and continues with two great concerts featuring Retroblast
on August 9, and Tommy Tassi on August 17. To finish the month of August, we are having our highly
anticipated Hawaiian Luau featuring Keahi and his amazing Hawaiian Band. The Lifestyle Department
prides itself on bringing great entertainment and activities to the residents of SDV. If there is something
you would like to see here, make sure to let me know.

In June, the men of Solera were treated as royalty and served dinner by the ladies
of Solera. There was no "beef " forthcoming except for the delicious marinated tri
tip served alongside roasted red potatoes and tender spears of asparagus. The ladies
scurried about quickly filling requested libations for the guys. It should be noted that
the dictionary defines libation as "a drink poured out as an offering to a deity." That's
probably a big stretch - Thanks, ladies!
