| OHCC LIVING | AUGUST 2019 | 29 Summer in Ocean Hills. What a beautiful place to be! August brings two FREE classes to "tickle" your quilting bones for all club members. The project will be a two-session lesson, and you have the choice of creating a quilt, a placemat, a table runner, or a mug rug (a large coaster) from one easy pattern. The supply list is short, and the sewing machine will do all of the work. The pattern is called "Mended Hearts" and you will be amazed at how easy it is. A class sign-up sheet will be available at our August meeting, or in the Sewing Room. Our regular schedule: You will hear cordial conversation (and sometimes a lot of laughter) in the Sewing Room on Tuesday evenings and Friday afternoons as we all work on our own projects. Thursday mornings may be open sewing time or special projects. Tuesday afternoons are busy with MaryLu Belisle and the knitters. On the second Saturday, we have a 'Sew-In', and on the fourth Saturday, the Wearable Arts group will be up to something fun with Pam Bechill. A complete list of happenings is on the Bulletin Board in the Sewing Room. If anyone would like to participate in our activities and is unable to get to the Clubhouse, please contact Chris Sanderson at (858) 442- 1834. We have volunteers ready to pick you up! Please visit our website, lovingly updated by Terri Eckhardt. http://ohccsewing.wixsite.com/ohccsewing All are welcome to join us. Dues are $7 per year.
