| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | SEPTEMBER 2019 | 37 This month starts a new season with some activities for residents that may be interested in learning about the club. Please come and check us out without any obligation. A FREE activity will be very basic beginner line dance instruction. This will be Mon., Sept. 9, 7 pm in the South Clubhouse. This class is meant for beginners. We will also tell you all about the club and its activities through the year. We promise no one will be embarrassed so come and give it a try, you might enjoy it. The club has line dance instruction every Monday evening in the South Clubhouse from 7 to 8:30 pm, so if you can't make it on Sept. 9, come on one of the following Mondays: Sept. 16, 23 and 30. The club also sponsors Country Western dances in the Ballroom. Unfortunately, the first dance this year will not be until Thurs., Oct. 17, due to the Ballroom being refurbished. Ballroom dances are from 7 to 9 pm. Any questions? Call Joe or Jean at (951) 769-9148. Country Western Dance Dinner Dance Club Oh my gosh! We just got into our new fiscal year and the Ballroom is being renovated. Let's not let that detour us. Let's celebrate on Sat., Sept. 21 on the Veranda and have a great time! For members of the D.D.C., there will be "yummies" such as the makings for a sub with meatballs and rolls, chicken strips, potato skins, veggies and chips for dipping, and an ice cream sandwich for dessert. All of this for $18.50 which includes tax and tip. However, if you aren't a member of the club, we would be pleased to have you come join us for dancing to music provided by Doug Anderson Entertainment. Let's enjoy the opportunity to "party" outside with our beautiful California weather. Sign ups for members will be Sept. 1 to Sept. 12. You may drop off your checks at Anne Wood's home located at 5836 Indian Canyon Drive. Tables for members will be "Reserved." However, there will be no allocated seating so it will not be necessary to designate the table of your choice. Seating will be on a first come basis. You must check in at the foyer door to obtain your "pass." This pass will allow you to help yourself to the food. Don't miss this opportunity to have a great time! Let's party and enjoy the evening together. Beginning class starting Oct. 1. Every Tuesday and Thursday in the North Clubhouse from 11 am to 12 pm. Monthly classes are $30.
