| SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | SEPTEMBER 2019 | 3
From the President's Desk
By Sandra Moyer
September is here already and let's hope the weather is more
tolerable. This month I am giving you a few updates on projects and
an event.
1. Thank you to the 10 residents who attended our first Budget
meeting. The next open meeting will be Sept. 6 & Sept. 26 – 1:30 pm
in Admin Office. Open to all residents.
2. The Clubhouse Refresh Dates:
a. Lobby Painting should be completed by the time you read this.
b. Ballroom – 8/25- 9/28.
c. Atrium, Hall, Offices – 9/29-10/20.
d. Sandwedge – 10/13-10-27.
e. South Wing – 10/27-12/15.
f. Restaurant – 10/28 – 11/24.
With all of the changes that are occurring to move Clubs/Groups
around, the calendars will not be available for August and September.
Please contact your Club/Group President or Instructor for your
scheduled meeting times.
3. Administration was notified that certain residents are helping
to distribute, every other month, a publication entitled "The
Neighborhood Bulletin." Because of the Civil Codes passed recently,
political information and gatherings (must follow our current
rule guidelines just passed), are now permitted in private HOA
communities. If you do not want to receive this bulletin, we were told
you may call Barbara Lindlan at (949) 244-8543 .
Oh my gosh, I can still hear my parents saying these things…
1. My mother taught me religion, "You better pray that will come
out of the carpet."
2. My father taught me logic, "Because I said so, that's why."
3. My mother taught me more logic, "If you fall off that swing and
break your neck, you're not going to the store with me."
4. My mother taught me foresight, "Make sure you wear clean
underwear, in case you're in an accident."
5. My father taught me irony, "Keep crying and I'll give you
something to cry about."
