FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2019 7 Welcome to September and some really great upcoming events. First, we'd like to invite you all to come and hang-out with us for "Jammin' at the Lawn Lounge" on Friday, Sept. 6 at 6 pm outside at The Lodge Loggia. This is a jam session comprised of several Four Seasons residents. We've got a food truck coming for dinner and you're welcome to bring your favorite beverages (bring plastic glasses for outside). We'll be casually sitting around listening to the music and talking with friends. Everybody is welcome and there is no charge to attend. This should be a lot of fun and we look forward to seeing you there. The next big event is one of my all-time favorite annual events — the wonderful Four Seasons Gallery Art Show. This incredible display of art — from paintings, drawings and sketching, ceramics, and photography — will leave you awed and amazed. We will also have delicious, elegant appetizers while we enjoy the beautiful live piano music from Max. Bring your favorite cultured beverage to complete this inspiring evening experience. The Gallery Art Show will take place on Friday, Sept. 13 from 4 to 8 pm. For all our veterans and patriotic neighbors, we will be paying tribute to our MIAs and POWs on Friday, Sept. 20. We will meet in The Lodge parking lot by the Admin building at 9 am. We will then caravan over to the Hillside Cemetery in Redlands for a simple service to honor our 26 MIA/POW veteran's graves that our community has adopted. Our own crafting group created some gorgeous yellow bows with each of our heroes' names on them. What a privilege to have an opportunity to show our gratitude to those who gave all, on behalf of our country. It's really quite moving to stand neighbor to neighbor in honor of those we choose to remember in love. Last on our list is the fun, popular, and free Gail Game night on Sept. 27, 6 pm. I could be wrong, but I believe that the game being played is "Password." If you haven't come to play that before, it's a hilarious group game in which everyone can participate. There will also be prizes for the winners! Feel free to bring in your dinner… who knows, the new Bistro vendor may be in and operating by this event? Hooray! Hope to see you soon.
