40 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2019 Classical Music Club We are classical music lovers with an interest in sharing our love, knowledge, and interest in classical music. We meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7 pm in the Movie Theater. We listen to and watch musical selections on the big screen. Each month we focus on a particular work or several selections of one composer. We also discuss current musical performances in the area. We welcome new members. At our July meeting, we added "Monthly Tips" to our agenda. The idea is to provide time for any member to discuss and share a favorite photographic tip. Two of us provided tips on using the various settings on cameras for a broad range lighting conditions. Tips are now an ongoing part of our monthly meetings. In July, our members showed photographs of fireworks and other Fourth of July pictures. We discussed the photos and challenges of fireworks photography. Our challenge for August was to take photographs using blur to show motion. We used some of the tips we learned. In September, our members are looking forward to showing our photographs at The Four Seasons Art Show in the Ballroom on Sept. 13 from 4 to 8 pm. It is a great chance to display our photographs for the community. Thank you for your submissions for the Breeze. Due to space and size limits, we select two pictures maximum. Please keep sending in your favorites. It's our goal to feature new photographers each month. New members are always welcome to sit in or join our club. Our goal is to learn, share, and have fun with photography. The next meeting is on Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 6:30 pm, in the RCN Main Room.
