FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2019 43 Let's Dance With the Hot Air Balloon theme, The Lodge Ballroom was transported up up and away for our Summer Dinner Dance! Thank you to all who attended, we know you had a wonderful evening of good food, friendship and especially dancing under the balloon lanterns. A special shout out to our Let's Dance group who worked tirelessly to make this event such a success! We continued our Country Western theme through August and we have had a super time doing so. We are proud to tell y'all we have some "real country dancers" here in Four Seasons. Our dance for September will be the Swing. For the newcomers and beginners we will be learning East Coast Swing, which is the most familiar to most of us. It is danced to fast swing music, including rock and roll and boogie woogie. Intermediate and advanced dancers will be learning the West Coast Swing, which is also known as the Lindy or Jitterbug. Both partners are doing different steps yet still dancing together. As always, everyone is welcome to attend both classes, based on your dance skills. We will be dark on Labor Day, Sept. 2, but plan to meet us in the Ballroom on Sept. 9 from 6 to 7 pm for newcomers and beginners and 7 to 8 pm for intermediate and advanced. The cost is $10 per person with our professional instructors. Dance as if no one is watching! We meet every Wednesday in the Ballroom. Beginner dances are at 4 pm and Intermediate/Advanced dances are at 5:10 pm.
